A Little Bit About Me
Assalamu Alaikum,
My name is Rahma and I've been living in California most of my life. I recently graduated as a Medical Assistant, finished my internship, and am now looking for a job. Sufism is what I was brought up as by my parents and what I've been growing deeper in as the years go by. My life and world revolve around Allah. Inshallah, I want to live my life to love, know, and serve Allah like he intended us to do in the first place. It only seems natural :)
I'm very easy going, simple natured, loyal, honest, and a happy person. When it comes to hobbies and interests, the list seems to go on and on, but I will try to make it brief and to the point. The things I love to do are: smiling, playing guitar, listening to music, reading, painting, drawing, writing, cooking, sewing, laughing, thinking, swimming, boogie boarding in summer, and spending time with the people I love.
Some of my favorite bands/musicians include Jethro Tull, Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, the Incredible String Band, White Stripes, Son House, John Lee Hooker, Motorhead, and Apocalyptica (among many many others). The superb Arabic language and poetic rhythm of the Quran truly fascinates me, making the Quran my favorite book to read. A few other titles are A Clockwork Orange, Thirteen Moons, Secret of Secrets, The Hobbit, The Gift and I heard God Laughing by Hafiz, and many books of Jalaludin Rumi's poetry.

What I Am Looking For
Inshallah, I would like an open minded and loving boy who is spiritual to become friends with first. Perhaps someone around my age would be good. It would be nice to learn from each other, to travel together, and most importantly to grow, love, and know Allah together.
